1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of LLM Status, the website at https://llmstatus.ai, the command-line interface (CLI), and all related applications, alerts, and services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Random Artifact, LLC, the company behind LLM Status ("we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, installing the CLI, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to that organization.
2. The Service
LLM Status helps software developers and engineering teams track the AI models their applications depend on and warns them before a model is deprecated or retired, so they can migrate before things break.
- A CLI scans your code and infrastructure to inventory which AI models your applications use.
- A live registry tracks the lifecycle status of those models, including announced deprecations and retirements.
- Alerts about lifecycle changes are delivered through an in-app feed, email, Slack, Discord, SMS, and webhooks.
- The Service is provided on a best-effort basis and is intended as an aid to your own monitoring and migration practices, not a replacement for them.
3. Accounts and Your Responsibilities
To use most features of the Service you must create an account. Authentication is handled by our provider Clerk. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hi@llmstatus.ai if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
- You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to use the Service.
- You are responsible for any code, configuration, or other data you submit to the Service, and for ensuring you have the right to submit it.
- You remain solely responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of your own applications and infrastructure, regardless of any alerts the Service does or does not deliver.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, or infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure, including through automated scraping, denial-of-service activity, or circumventing rate limits.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise make the Service available to third parties except as expressly permitted by your plan.
- Upload or transmit malware, or use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
5. Plans, Billing and Refunds
We offer the following plans. Plan features and limits are described on our website and may be updated from time to time.
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; payment details are handled directly by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the applicable fees.
Subscriptions (Pro) renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings or by contacting hi@llmstatus.ai; cancellation stops future renewals, and you retain access to paid features through the end of the period you have already paid for. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase that grants access for the lifetime of the Service as described at the time of purchase.
Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at hi@llmstatus.ai and we will review your request in good faith. We may change our prices prospectively; changes will not affect the current paid period of an existing subscription.

- Pro — $5 per year, billed annually via Stripe, cancel anytime.
- Lifetime — $29 one-time payment via Stripe for lifetime access.
6. SMS Messaging Terms
If you choose to receive alerts by SMS, you must opt in by providing and confirming your mobile number within the Service. SMS notifications are powered by our providers Novu and Telnyx.
By opting in, you consent to receive automated text messages from LLM Status related to the model lifecycle alerts you have configured. Message frequency varies and depends on the lifecycle events affecting the models you track. Message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile carrier's plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You can cancel SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message; after you send STOP, we will send a confirmation and then stop sending SMS alerts to that number. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hi@llmstatus.ai. Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of using the Service; you can continue to receive alerts through the in-app feed, email, and other supported channels.
7. Disclaimers
The Service, including the model registry and all lifecycle alerts, is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Lifecycle alerts are provided on a best-effort basis. Information about model deprecations and retirements is drawn from publicly available sources and our own tracking, which may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee that every deprecation or retirement will be detected, or that any alert will be delivered before a model changes or is removed.
You remain solely responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and migrating your own systems. You should not rely on the Service as your only safeguard against model deprecation or service disruption. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that defects will be corrected.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLM Status and its operators, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including any failure to detect or alert about a model deprecation or retirement, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) fifty US dollars (US $50).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. You can cancel a paid plan as described in the billing section.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, in whole or in part, at any time if you violate these Terms, if your use poses a risk to the Service or other users, or as otherwise reasonably necessary, including to comply with law. Where practical, we will provide notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law, will continue to apply. We may delete your account data after termination in accordance with our data practices.
10. Changes to the Service or These Terms
We are continually improving the Service and may add, change, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice of material changes that significantly reduce the core functionality of a paid plan.
We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you should stop using the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws applicable where the operator of LLM Status is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that the courts located in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your place of residence.
